Automated Attendance Notifications
Dear Amphitheater Families:
We want to let you know that automated attendance notifications will begin today, Aug. 21. If your child is marked absent and you have not reported the absence, you will receive an automated call, text and email to inform you of the absence. This is a safety measure to ensure families know that their child has been marked absent from school.
To report an absence (and avoid the automated communication), please report your child's absence to the school attendance clerk or report it in the Parent Portal.
To report an absence in the Parent Portal:
- Log in to the portal
- Select "More"
- Select "Absence Requests"
- Select "Create Request"
- Complete the request
Please note that you must report the absence on the same day, so be sure to get that in as soon as you know your child will be missing school.
If you do not have a Parent Portal account, please contact your school office. They will provide you with a unique link for your child.
